normalizing nexT®

Located in East Point, Georgia, Impact Church is an inclusive gathering of people who are committed to sharing the love of Christ with the world. The ministry is led by Olu Brown and is ranked the fifth fastest growing United Methodist congregation in the United States - an accomplishment achieved by their promise of “Doing Church Differently®.” Impact operates as a 4D, 21st-century ministry where they focus on a balanced mix of culture, hospitality, worship, and technology. This mix positions Impact as a smart church that transforms lives and communities through holistic salvation principles (spiritual, emotional, relational, physical, financial, professional) and doing Christ’s work.

At his core, Olu has a strong skill set for starting and scaling businesses. When he founded Impact Church, his vision was to lead the church for ten years. Olu has been at the helm of Impact Church for 14 years and it will be nearly 16 years at the time of his retirement next year. While the official announcement is being made in May 2021; Olu will stay on as lead pastor until June 2022.

During this transitional year, Olu will continue to lead Impact Church.  The transitional year, known as Normalizing NEXT®, will be a very exciting time as Olu and the next lead pastor work together to launch a new non-profit organization, manage capital campaigns for building expansion, and lead staff, lay teams, community stakeholders, and thousands of Impactors to the next levels of influence.

Olu is passionate about helping other leaders, teams, and organizations grow into the best versions of themselves. Through his companies; Culverhouse LLC and Olu Brown Enterprises he will focus on individual and group coaching, and speaking and will continue authoring books while leveraging the nearly two decades of invaluable experience he has gained.
